Please join us at Booth 1133 during PAX East 2010! We're located in one of the far corners of Level 1 (Boo!) but I can promise you that it'll be well worth it!

You'll be able to enjoy Snake360, CardArcade, Sharpshooter and Falling! Snake360 will actually be set up on two stations: one to enjoy the campaign levels and Survival Mode, and one specifically for Suffocation Battles! And, there will be Suffocation Battle tournaments all weekend long!

On each day of the convention, you'll be able to enter one of four qualifying tournaments. The winner gets a sweet choice of prize! Plus, if you finish in the top 2, you'll be invited back for that day's finals, where you'll compete for a prize package worth over $40! This will include copies of the yyrGames releases, as well as a T-shirt, Snake360 soundtrack CD, and 1600 Microsoft Points!

Furthermore, the Sharpshooter and Falling score contests will be in full swing! (For more info click here.) Even if you haven't bought the games, you'll be able to participate in the contests by playing at PAX East! Pen and paper will be available for you to write down your Internet Ranking codes.

Plus: there will be giveaways, FREE swag, T-shirts and CDs available for purchase, and if you don't like my games you can tell me to my face! Yes, shoot down the game creator himself. I look forward to your comments. =)

And to sweeten the deal even further, we'll be right next to Mommy's Best Games. So it'll be a whole bunch of fun in one place!

I saw you there, I also liked how you had the arcade stick setup for your games, it really gave your booth a nice old-school feeling!

I really wanted to use the arcade sticks for Falling, to complete the package... I think it turned out to be a good decision. There even seemed to be a handful of folks there who had never wielded a joystick before!

I'm not sure at this point whether exhibiting at PAX East was a good financial decision, but I had a great time running the booth for everyone, and I know that there were a number of people that had a great time there. If you were one of them... or, even if you weren't... thanks very much for coming to check it out!

Yeah, I had a blast, I kind of want to get an arcade stick, just to play falling and snake360 lol

I hope it doesn't keep you from going to the conventions, I think you said it right, when you said any publicity is good publicity, truth be told, I didn't realize that you had any other games out, I try to check the indies list every day, but it can cycle by so fast that you can easily miss a gem! (Or 3 in my case)

If you want some advice on the best time to release a game (if Microsoft gives you a choice of when) I would highly recommend Wednesdays, Because that's when Microsoft Releases their arcade titles, and I am sure that you can get more traffic by people checking what's new on that day.

We can't really pick a release day. The games are released immediately after they pass Peer Review, and we don't have any degree of control over when our fellow Creators review the game...so it's kind of tough to pin down a date until after the game's already out!

I find it amazing that some of you indie developers on XBLIG can manage to move anything, with how little control microsoft gives you for releases, thankfully you have people like me that will demo indie games as they come out.
